What does this mean?

If you pack cold lunch or a snack for your child, plese make sure that you DO NOT SEND FOOD WITH NUTS to school.  This includes peanuts, peanut butter, almonds, almond butter, tree nuts, and so forth

If you donate a snack for the class, it must be a store bought item with the ingredient label attached.  If there is no ingredient list, we will not be able to confirm the product is safe, and we will hae to return the product to you.  Fresh fruits and veggies are the only exception they are all safe to send in.

Please note:  Wesco popcorn is popped in peanut oil and is not considered a safe snack for school, but popcorn popped in sunflower or safflower oil is fine.

If you find a product that is labeled "produced in a facility that also produces nuts," that product Is Safe to send in.  For more information on foods with allergens, visit our website at and click on the Food Service Department.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter!  If you have any further questions, please feel free to call the school at 861-2662
